Robert Wayne Pierce

Wayne Pierce, 58, went to be with His Lord as a result of a tragic accident on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at his home in Olive Hill, TN. He lived most of his life in Savannah, GA, having lived and managed his own lawn care service in Olive Hill for the past 11 years. He was attending Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, TN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnie L. Pierce, on January 26, 1977, and his younger sister, Vicki Johnson surviving spouse, Mark, on February 12, 2007.

He is survived by his mother, Edith McDonald Pierce, who lived in Savannah for over 60 years, having recently moved to North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Cheryl Mattox Jerry, of Augusta, GA, and his twin sister, Nancy Fuller Dick, of North Augusta, SC; one niece, Kelly Johnson Ray; one nephew, Chad Mattox Denise; and two great-nephews, Dalstin and Caiden Mattox.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Service will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday April 29, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
